Process

Think of this like the start of a wonderful new friendship. From the moment we first connect to the minute you walk down the aisle, we'll be communicating every step of the way.

  1. The first spark

    You book

    Once we've chatted and you feel I'm the right person to guide you through the biggest moment of your day, we move right into the magic. A simple £250 deposit secures your date and lets us officially start creating. I'll send over the contract and, most importantly, a delightfully "juicy" questionnaire designed to get all the fun, heartfelt answers I need to write the best damn ceremony you could ever dream of.

  2. The creative flow

    We click

    I'll send you the first full draft of the ceremony. We'll jump on a call to review it, adding any beautiful tweaks or whispers of whimsy until it feels perfect and real.

  3. The final polish

    We plan

    About eight weeks before the big day, we have our final check-in to confirm every loving word. The final payment is due at this point. If your package includes a rehearsal, we'll meet at the venue to walk through the short version and calm any last-minute butterflies.

    I arrive early to set up your ceremony space and chat with your vendors, ensuring everything flows seamlessly and your ceremony runs as smooth as silk.

How long does it take?

Writing a ceremony from scratch can take up to six months from booking to final script, so the earlier we start, the more room there is to get it exactly right.

How long it takes in practice depends on a few things: how much detail comes back in your questionnaire, how quickly you're able to reply as we go, and how many rounds of amendments we make to the drafts. None of that is a race. We work at a pace that suits you, and I'll always be clear about where we are.
